Before & After Traditional

BEDROOM BEFORE:
This bedroom lacked the elegance that it deserved. The bedroom needed to be warmed up with color and textures. Architectural details such as the vaulted ceiling and hardwood floors are lost. However, the best feature about this room is the view it offers to the park-like backyard retreat.

Bedroom After:
The warm hand decorated walls and ceiling, along with the silk textures of the new bedding and window treatments add warmth. The earth tones blend nicely with the fabulous view; and the new color scheme highlights the architectural details of the room. A chaise lounge by the windows allows for a relaxing spot to kick back and read. |

Formal Living Before:
The architectural details of this formal living room are lacking the essentials that take this room from "ok" to "fabulous". |
|

|
Formal Living After:
The hand painted columns now flank the custom mural at the top of the firplace. The black tiles were replaced by an exotic solid granite surround and hearth. Hand dyed silk drapes set off the shape of the large windows, while allowing the view to show through. Custom leather loveseats sit comfortably on the Turkish hand knotted rug. |

|
Fireplace Before:
The dark brick fireplace imposes itself on the family room. A bulky wooden mantle adds to the problem, while the light pink walls make the fireplace stand out even more. |
|

|
Fireplace After:
Refacing the fireplace with limestone that has been broken and pieced back together lightened up the room and brought warm and character to a bulky piece. The solid dark stone helped break up the monotony and create interest. The walls, now rich with a hand painted decorative finish, seamlessly enhance the room. |

Eating Area Before:
The eating area has no detail or character.

|

|
Eating Area After:
The hand painted decorative finish was carried to the ceiling to emphasize the height of the ceiling. Since the backyard is so fantastic, the windows were topped with hand forged iron accents that would not obscure the view. Small glass accent tiles were placed in the center of each, so to further compliment the iron and glass chandellier. |
