How much do these finishes cost? The finishes range in price, due to the complexity of the particular finish and the preparation time required to properly prepare the existing walls. Hand painted decorative finishes are time consuming and beautiful, therefore the people who view your walls will know that you have made an investment. Depending on the finishes, the cost may be comparable to high end wall paper.
Why should I choose Hand Painted Finishes instead of wallpaper? Hand painted finishes are custom and are not part of mass production, therefore making them tailor-made to your needs. Painted walls are much easier to change in the years ahead because they do not require expensive stripping like wall paper.
How long will it take? The time it takes to do a finish depends on the number of steps and the room in which it is being applied. At the time of a proposal, an estimated time can be given.
How can I get advice on which finish to choose? Because the finishes are a portion of the work that is done at La Dame, you may schedule a consultation and view some samples in your home. The cost of this consultation is $65 payable at the time of the visit.
Why doesn't La Dame outsource these finishes? We have found that there was only limited finishes and we needed to offer our clients more, so we chose to learn and perform the work ourselves. This allows the finishes to be applied directly by the decorators and does not leave the expectations open for interpretations. La Dame offers an exceptional product and does not rely on the abilities of outsourced finishers.
