PROBLEM: This half-wall did not allow for privacy between the kitchen and family room. Also, the homeowner wanted to change from an electric cook-top to gas, but the kitchen’s current island did not allow for a gas connection.

STEP #2

Offer a Solution

SOLUTION:Building a new wall that separates the kitchen from the living space and gave a place to run gas from the attic to the new Dacor® 5-burner cook-top.By adding upper cabinets, the homeowner had additional storage and a place to house the vent hood.

STEP #3

Finish the job!

FINAL PRODUCT:Two separate living areas allow for privacy in both spaces.Final touches are added with the backsplash in the kitchen and the art in the living room.
